Description:
The Trauma Services Program (TSP) at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) is seeking a part-time undergraduate student to join our team as a Research Assistant. The TSP Research Assistant will assist our team to evaluate the effectiveness of our current programs, analyze recent research trends, and build better programs for the veterans we serve. The Washington DC VAMC TSP is an outpatient specialty clinic that provides assessment, education, and treatment to Veterans diagnosed with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Our primary mission is to help Veterans with PTSD reduce their suffering and improve their quality of life. In the TSP, we work collaboratively with Veterans to capitalize on their resiliency and strengths in order to assist them in their healing and recovery from PTSD.
