Are you a recent December graduate or up and coming May graduate? Little Leaves Behavioral Services is hiring recent graduates to work with pre-school age children with autism in their Little Leaves Center Program in Silver Spring and Germantown, MD. It is a great opportunity for direct clinical experience right out of school. Training is provided. There are already quite a few UMD alumni on our team!
Little Leaves Behavioral Services
Little Leaves is an organization dedicated to helping individuals with social, communication, and behavioral challenges grow and succeed so that they can participate as fully as possible in their families and communities. Little Leaves provides a in-home, at-school, and center-based ABA services for children with developmental delays, especially Autism Spectrum Disorders in Northern Virginia, Washington, DC., Baltimore and surrounding communities
Little Buds Program
The Little Leaves Center Program is a center-based ABA program for young children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder run in a preschool-like setting. The Little Leaves Center Program runs Monday through Friday from 8:30 am – 5 pm. During the day, children have the opportunity to participate in individual therapy time, small group activities with peers, and activities of daily living. While many clients are at the Little Leaves Center for the full day, an individualized schedule is developed for each child based on his/her therapeutic needs.
Behavior Technician Role
Behavior Technicians are critical members of a child’s therapy team. They deliver the majority of a child’s individualized therapy hours based on the plans and protocols developed by a Supervising Behavior Analyst, and collect data on a child’s progress. No experience in ABA necessary, just an interest in working with young children with special needs. Little Leaves provides all training necessary for you to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This is a full time position with a robust benefit plan.
