RA Positions with The Temperament and Narratives Lab!

The Temperament and Narratives Lab conducts
research exploring how children’s temperament, social storytelling, and ability to understand others’ emotions relate to effective social interactions. Although research demonstrates the benefits of using picture books to teach children about emotions, few studies have examined the content in picture books on the topic of anger. The "Portrayal of Anger Experiences in Young Children’s Picture Books" project aims to explore how anger eliciting situations, anger manifestations, and anger management strategies are presented in picture books for children ages 3-6.

To do so, we are looking for research assistants to join our coding team! We are using qualitative coding methods using the NVivo software. No prior experience using NVivo is needed!
For those looking to expand their skill set, this is a great opportunity to gain experience coding qualitative data, while learning from graduate-level research assistants.
