majors with elementary school students from Title I schools in a one-on-one mentoring relationship. Once a week, we engage in on-campus activities to promote personal growth for both the college students and children.
Activities are centered around higher education & career development, community service, and culture & diversity. For example, we’ve done an activity geared towards career development about what it means to be an architect and built card-board houses.
