Description: 
We are seeking a full-time Faculty Specialist (Research Coordinator) with a strong foundation in interventions research to begin in the summer of 2022. The Faculty Specialist will be primarily involved with the ADHD in Families Study (NIMH Collaborative R01 grant) with the University of Maryland, Children’s National Health System, and Seattle Children’s Hospital (PIs: Dr. Andrea Chronis-Tuscano and Dr. Mark Stein). The primary focus of this clinical trial to test the comparative effectiveness of two different treatment strategies for parents who have ADHD and their young children
at risk for ADHD using a hybrid effectiveness-implementation approach. Secondarily, as part of this grant, we will develop an implementation approach for treatment of multiplex ADHD families using telehealth in primary care sites providing pediatric care.

This is a one-year position (with the possibility of renewal for additional years). Start date is Summer 2022.

Responsibilities:
o Weekly visits to pediatric primary care clinics for liaison with community partners and recruitment of participants

o Forming and maintaining relationships with primary care clinics/community stakeholders

o Scheduling study assessments with families and members of the research team
(i.e., psychologists, psychiatrists)

o Administering assessments with families and stakeholder members

o Facilitate with regulatory activities (i.e., IRB, NIH reports)

o Data entry, management and processing in Redcap and SPSS.

Qualifications:
Necessary qualifications include: 1) a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field; 2) research experience in the content of clinical research; 3) proficiency with SPSS; 4) excellent organizational and communication skills; 5) comfortable driving/commuting in and around D.C; 6) excellent interpersonal skills and comfort with building and facilitating community partnerships including in urban pediatric offices.
