Improve the lives of immigrants through education! Volunteer/Intern @ The Washington English Center!

Since 1993, Washington English Center, a community-based program, has offered English and literacy
training to low-income adult immigrants in the greater Washington area using volunteer teachers and tutors.

We are currently recruiting both in-person and online volunteer English teachers.

We are also seeking one-on-one conversation and writing tutors for online sessions. Tutoring is rolling and an 11-week commitment from the time you are matched. There are also opportunities to substitute teach in-person or online.
