Spring 2021 Research Assistant Position with the Cognition and Development Lab!

Spring 2021
Research Assistant Position
Cognition and Development Lab

The Cognition and Development Lab, co-directed by Drs. Richard Prather and Lucas Payne Butler hosts two individual research programs: (1) children's developing numerical knowledge; and (2) children's early social cognition. Research activities are conducted with children ranging in age from 3 to 10. For the foreseeable future, all lab activities are being conducted virtually, non-face-to-face.

The RA should have an interest in gaining research background and in pursuing or learning more about research-based graduate programs in developmental psychology.

The RA must be at least a sophomore and be able to commit 3-to-6-hours for the Spring semester. No minimum GPA required.

The RA’s responsibilities will include recruiting child participants, managing participant compensation, and analyzing data. Subject knowledge is not required; necessary training will be available.
