The course will explore the questions above and many others like: How does memory work? Why do we sleep? How does the brain regulate pain? What do gut bacteria have to do with depression and Parkinson’s disease?

Instructor: Dr. David Yager who has taught undergraduate seminar, lecture, and lab courses in neuroscience for over 20 years and is a recipient of the BSOS Excellence in Teaching Award.
