Camp Kesem Counselor Applications  

Kesem creates a week-long sleep away camp for kids who have been affected by a parent's cancer! We are excited to announce that our counselor applications are live for summer 2020! This summer, our camp will take place the week before school starts in the fall (August 23-28th) at Camp Louise in Cascade, Maryland! Applications close this Friday (10/25) at noon, so follow the instructions to apply now at go.umd.edu/campkesem2020.

No previous experience as a camp counselor is required. Getting involved in Camp Kesem and serving as a counselor is a great way to get experience in working with children and in working directly with mental health professionals to facilitate behavioral plans or individualized counseling that may be necessary.
