Research Assistant Positions
Description:
The Culture Lab (director Michele Gelfand) is looking for motivated and hardworking research
assistants on culture neuroscience study for this summer. Our lab, within the Social Decision Making and Organizational Science program of psychology department, has a very board interest, including cultural norms and cultural values, negotiation, conflict, revenge, and forgiveness. We work with computer scientists, neuroscience researcher and political scientists. If hired, research assistants will have the opportunity to work on cross-cultural neuroscience projects that investigate the normative behavior of people in their daily lives and its underlying neural mechanisms. All RAs will be trained in high-level research skills, including literature review, experimental design, data analysis and neuroscience related knowledge.
Responsibilities:
-6-9 hours/week
-Literature review
-Conduct culture research
-Assist with data analysis
-Assist with writing work
Qualifications:
-Highly motivated
-Interests related to neuroscience and social pyshology
-Good English writing skills
-Self-motivated
