Maryland Child & Family Development Lab
Description:
The Maryland Child & Family Development Laboratory is recruiting motivated and responsible undergraduate students to serve as research assistants during the upcoming summer. The lab investigates the parent-child relationship and social, emotional, and behavioral outcomes associated with the relationship. Upcoming projects will be investigating children's empathy, their understanding of their social environment, and how parents help develop empathy and social understanding. Strong preference will be given to students who are willing to commit to two semesters in the lab (e.g., summer and fall semesters). Students can volunteer or earn course credit for working in the lab.

Responsibilities:
-Home visit data collection with families
-Lab visit data collection with families
-Recruiting
-Observational data coding
-Data entry
-Transcribing
-Must have flexible weekday schedules
Qualifications:
-Minimum of 3.2 GPA
