Full-time Summer Research Internship with the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory!

An employment opportunity is currently available for one or two individuals for summer research positions (40 hrs/wk) to work on critical studies of optimizing human performance in applied settings. These are studies involving human subjects research for which appropriate IRB training would be required.

Responsibilities:
-Working with a multi-disciplinary team to complete all tasks necessary to set up experiments
-Conduct pilot testing
-Recruit and enroll participants
-Test participants
-Analyze data 
-Prepare reports of the findings. Multiple levels of measurement and modalities (EEG, ECG, GSR, neuroendocrine, behavioral, performance) are planned for these experiments. 

Qualifications/Requirements: 
-Experience with experimentation planning, development and execution are desired
-Strong verbal and written communication, signal processing, instrumentation, research and teamwork skills. 
-A BS or upper level undergraduate in Biomedical or other engineering, neuroscience, psychology, computer science, or other academic focus required. Graduate students at the MS or PhD levels are desired. Degree completion not required. 
- Candidates must be citizens of the United States and able to meet security clearance requirements. There is a possibility of continued employment beyond the summer months.
