Paid Research Study Participants
Dr. Alexander Shackman's Lab
Participate in a paid research study in Dr. Alexander Shackman's Lab here in the UMD Department of Psychology. The study utilizes Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), a safe, noninvasive neuroimaging method to examine the neurological basis of anxiety in an effort to understand the origins of anxiety disorders that afflict millions including returning service members. The study is divided into two parts: imaging and smart phone. Overall, participants have the opportunity to earn up to $220 while contributing to the field of anxiety research.
