Description:
This is an opportunity for students in the Southern PG County area with a passion for working with children with disabilities or looking to broaden their horizons. Students will provide assistance to individuals with mild disabilities to be included in recreational programs with their non-disabled peers. They will also assist with the adaptation of activities and helps to facilitate social interactions.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
Provide assistance to individuals with mild disabilities to be included in recreational programs with their non-disabled peers.
Actively participates in all program activities, assists with the adaptation of activities and helps to facilitate social interactions.
Must have a desire and interest in working with persons with disabilities.
Minimal related experience required.
Minimum age 16.
