This is not the kind of volunteer position where we just “supervise” our participants. As a sma l and tightly connected group, we get in the water, we fish, we tube, we sail, we hike, we paddle, we explore and we experience edventures together. We help our teens to engage in conversations with each other and to actively participate with the group. Most importantly, we keep our teens safe, even through moments of difficulty. We help our teens build positive relationships, learn to trust, and encourage them to cha lenge themselves physica ly, emotiona ly and cognitively
