Fall 2025 Undergraduate Teaching Assistants needed for PSYC234 (Psychology of Happiness)

Manuel (Manny) Teran Hernández is currently searching for Fall 2025 Undergraduate Teaching Assistants (UTAs). Manny is seeking UTAs to assist with his PSYC234: Psychology of Happiness course this upcoming fall semester.

Eligibility to serve in a UTA position:
• You must have taken PSYC234 at UMD and earned a grade of B+ or higher.

Time commitment & benefits:
This will be a volunteer position requiring at least 6 hours per week. In return, UTAs will receive professional development opportunities related to applying to graduate school in psychology as well as a strong letter of recommendation.

UTA Responsibilities:
*Grading (including weekly writing assignments)
*Administrative tasks (including Canvas-related tasks)
*Collaborating with and working under the guidance of the instructor and Graduate TA, and attending weekly meetings
*Contributing to the enhancement and development of assignments and exams
*Holding office hours to assist with students’ course questions
*Supporting other course-related needs
