Paid Summer 2025 Bilingual Research Assistant Position

The Early Childhood Interaction Lab (PI: Geetha Ramani) is looking 

to hire a Spanish-speaking research assistant for the Summer 2025. Research conducted by members of our lab focuses on understanding how young children's social interactions and play influence early math learning. We also examine factors that influence math development, such as language and cognitive skills. This is a paid position for the summer (up to 10 hours a week at $15 per hour).

Responsibilities:

-Collect in-person data in Spanish with children ages 3-5 (and in English via Zoom).
-Process and verify video transcripts in Spanish (priority will be given to candidates with good verbal and writing skills).
-Volunteer at local and community events.
-Upload and manage data in Excel and Qualtrics.
-Score and code research videos.

Qualifications: 

We are specifically seeking an undergraduate student who is fluent in both Spanish and English.
Some experience working with children and/or parents would be ideal.
