Spanish-speaking research assistant for the end of
Spring 2024 into Fall 2025 (optional summer hours). Students will assist with recruitment and data collection. This project evaluates online family interventions designed to improve math skills in elementary schoolers.

Description:
Research in the lab focuses on understanding how children's social interactions and play influence early math learning. Research assistants are a highly valued part of the ECI Lab and have opportunities to experience all aspects of the research process. This is an excellent opportunity for students seeking research experience in preparation for graduate school!
Students will receive $15 per hour for 60 hours (approximately 5 hours a week).
Work may be extended beyond 60 hours pending funding.
If students would like to continue working with the lab beyond 60 hours of work, they can enroll in EDHD credit.
Responsibilities:
-Assisting with participant recruitment efforts with schools and families
-Translating written responses from Spanish-speaking participants
-Emailing with participants in English and Spanish
We are specifically seeking an undergraduate student who is fluent in both Spanish and English
Some experience working with children and/or parents
