Within the CFT Clinic, we provide outpatient therapy services to patients ages 5-25 who present with externalizing and/or internalizing concerns (e.g., ADHD, anxiety) as well as families experiencing relational difficulties (e.g., parent-child conflict). Our patient population consists of primarily typically developing children. Internship Tasks & Responsibilities:
As an undergraduate intern, you would have the opportunity to observe therapy sessions conducted with families, assist with scoring of psychological measures, and help with other office tasks. Please note that undergraduate interns will not have any direct contact with patients. We have offices in Columbia, Odenton, and Baltimore city. Also, this internship is unpaid, though potentially eligible for academic or course credit if approved by your educational institution.
We will be interviewing for our Spring 2024 internship on November 17, 2024, and have interview appointments available from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, starting on the hour with a group information meeting and then an individual meeting with Drs. Jobe and Culpepper. Interviews will be conducted virtually through Zoom.

More Information About This Internship:
Some additional information: the internship will require a minimum of 90 hours, which is usually done in 10 hours per week (usually 2, 5-hour blocks). You must also be able to provide your own transportation to the site at which you would be placed (e.g., Columbia, Odenton, or Baltimore (Fairmount or Aliceanna)). Interns will start at their respective sites on or after January 29, 2024, and there will be a mandatory orientation on January 26, 2024 from 10:00 am-4:00 pm (hours count toward total hours). The last day of the internship is May 24, 2024.
