Building a Restorative Campus | Tuesday, November 14th from 5pm-7pm
The Dean’s Student Advisory Council in the Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences is working with the Justice & Legal Thought Scholars Program and MLAW Programs to put together an event focused around Restorative Justice (RJ) education. Other partners include BSOS TerrapinSTRONG, the BSU-UMD Social Justice Alliance, and Multicultural Involvement & Community Advocacy (MICA). The event will feature two guest speakers from the DC Peace Team, Josh Bacon, and Debra Budiani-Saberi, who will engage in an open discussion about RJ practices in classroom settings, across campus, and beyond. It will take place on November 14th, 5-7PM, in the Atrium located in STAMP. All students and faculty members are welcome and encouraged to attend!
