Undergraduate and Master’s students are invited to apply to work in the Psychology Department's Interpersonal Relationships Lab as a Research Coordinator during the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters (August 2023 – May 2024).
Description:
The lab is supervised by Dr. Edward Lemay. Currently, Dr. Lemay is conducting a grant-funded study examining the impact of primal world beliefs (i.e., a set of environmental beliefs and expectations regarding the world) on interpersonal relationship functioning and performance at work using dyadic, longitudinal, behavioral observation, and experience sampling methods.We are currently seeking applicants for a paid, part-time (10 hours / week) Research Coordinator position. This is an excellent opportunity to gain research experience in preparation for a graduate or research career.
Responsibilities:
-Manage day-to-day Primals Study activities-Train and supervise undergraduate research assistants
-Develop and maintain lab schedule
-Contact participants to schedule data collection session (emailing / calling)
-Monitor survey completion on Qualtrics
-Maintain master data / participant tracker
-Attend lab meetings as well as any project-related meetings, as needed
Qualifications:
-Ability to work for 10 hours per week, which can be during business hours-Strong organizational and time-management skills
-Attention to detail and ability to work on complex tasks independently
-Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort with communicating with participants
-Interest in social psychology and relationships research
