Description:
CECEI is seeking five post-baccalaureate individuals to serve as Research Assistants (RAs) for the Implementation and Impact Evaluation of Maryland’s Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Support Services (IECMHSS) Program, under the direction of Dr. Christy Tirrell-Corbin and Dr. Brenda Jones Harden. The position will start at the beginning of June 2023 and run through June 30, 2024, with continuation dependent upon performance and funding. Most of the data collection will be onsite in early childhood programs throughout the State of Maryland, which makes access to a car a minimum qualification for this position.Responsibilities:
-Engage in data collection with IECMHSS regional program staff, child care center personnel, children, and families-Will be responsible for data entry and management
-Contribute to data analysis and dissemination
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in human development, education, psychology, family science, or a related field-Research experience
-Evidence of strong communication skills, both oral and written
-Excellent interpersonal skills
-Attention to detail and ability to work autonomously
-Proficiency in using Google Workspace
-Access to a car
