Research in the DSCN examines the brain bases underlying the development of communicative behaviors. We primarily use functional MRI as well as behavioral methods with infants, children, and adults. Our research questions relate to different kinds of development, including autistic and non autistic individuals.
If accepted, undergraduates will assist on participant recruitment and retention, data entry, assisting on behavioral and fMRI data collection, and community outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, flexible, and open to learning new things! Previous research experience is not required. Credit is available for PSYC479.
