Spring 2023 RA Positions with The Identity Management Lab!

The IMg Lab is searching for Undergraduate 
Research Assistants starting the Spring 2023 semester. More information

Applicants should have a passion for research and interest in understanding issues related to diversity, stigmatization, diverse identities, and discrimination. The lab focuses on how individuals identifying with minority groups manage their identities and the outcomes associated with these actions. Current and recent projects have focused on faculty gender and racial diversity in higher education, experiences of autistic employees, women’s experiences navigating fertility challenges in the workplace, sexual orientation disclosure at work, the process of labeling racist work-related events, and more. RAs should be reliable, organized, and have superior communication skills. There is also the option of getting course credit for being an RA. Preference will be given to those who can commit to at least two consecutive semesters in the lab and are freshmen, sophomores, or juniors.

Responsibilities:
-Attend regularly-held lab meetings
-Study recruitment
-Running participants in the lab
-Data management
-Dedicate a minimum of 6 hours per week

Qualifications:
-Evidence of reliability and responsibility in an academic and/or work setting
-Can commit to at least 2 consecutive semesters in the lab
-Interest in diversity-related research
