Attention 1st & 2nd Year PSYC Terps: Give Your Future A Major Boost With The PREP Program!

Psychology Research Empowerment Program (PREP)

The mission of the PREP program is to create a pipeline from first year to PhD programs for students from historically underrepresented backgrounds. This is a great opportunity to get connected to a community within PSYC, get to know faculty, become involved with research and learn more about doctoral programs in psychology.

PREP is a great fit for you if you are:
-a PSYC major;
-a first year or sophomore student;
-a transfer student
-interested in exploring graduate school in psychology/ AND
-from a low income background, the first in your family to go to college OR from a racial/ethnic group underrepresented in PSYC

Learn more about PREP by clicking here or apply here, or reach out to nsalah@umd.edu if you have any questions.
