In this course, we’ll learn how society influences who we become by examining all aspects of life (ranging from friends and family to global influences). Students will gain a foundational knowledge of human development theory and apply it to the current challenges facing society such as the War in Ukraine, Covid-19, technology in the classroom, and misinformation. By the end of this course, students will better understand how we can become productive members of society.
