Research Internship at The National Defense University!

The Leadership Fitness Lab works on various topics pertaining to 
military service members and high-status leaders including Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, and Well-being; Emotional Intelligence, Personality, Well-Being, and Performance in Military Recruiters; Military (injured & non-injured service members) Couples Resilience, PTSD, and Relationship Quality; Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, and Well-Being; Yoga, Resilience, Sleep, and Dreams. The lab operates underneath the Institute for Strategic Studies which studies include, but are not limited to, defense policy, cooperation, and organization, transnational security, future warfare, and military strategy issues as they relate to significant countries or geographic areas.

Responsibilities:
-Literature reviews
-Powerpoint presentations
-Preparation of classroom materials
-Preparing publication submissions
-Preparing poster presentations
-Manuscript editing and writing
-Database entry/management/data analysis
-Coordination of articles with co-authors and organization of community events
-Organizing literature reviews, manuscripts, and other relevant research material

Qualifications: 
-Undergraduate 3.5+ GPA
-Interest in military psychology preferred, but not necessary
-Interest in research preferred
-8-16 hours of availability a week preferred during school year for local students
-20-32+ hours per week preferred during summer or full-time internship
