Paid Research Assistant Positions with the UMD School of Public Health!

The Woodlawn Project at the University of Maryland School of Public Health has several openings for paid research assistants for a study on the health and wellbeing of a cohort of African American adults.

This large-scale, NIH-funded study has been ongoing since 1966, and we are now contacting approximately 1,000 study participants to complete an Age 60 telephone interview. The project is led by Dr. Kerry Green, Professor in the Department of Behavioral and Community Health.

Responsibilities:
-Completing 90-minute phone interviews
-Engaging in ongoing quality assurance meetings/trainings
-Approximately 15 hours per week
-Work is partially in person, partially remote

Qualifications:
-Motivated, responsible, detail-oriented, highly organized students
-Research assistants must be very comfortable making phone calls
-Research assistants must be willing to work for two semesters
-Open to both undergraduate and graduate students at UMD
