At Evolving Minds, a mental health nonprofit start-up, we are developing impactful mental health
programming and envisioning compassionate responses to a mental health crisis that affects us all.
We are seeking passionate and engaged student interns to join our team. Please see the details for each
intern position on the following page. Ideal interns enjoy brainstorming, building community, advocacy,
and social entrepreneurship. This is a growth-oriented work environment with opportunities for autonomy, creativity, and leadership. As mental health advocates, we promote self-care within, integrating mindfulness and resilience-based skills into our work environment. Interns will also be trained as Resilient Leaders, leaving our internship with 4 resilience-based skills that they can integrate into future professional environments and community spaces.
The internship begins this summer (June 1st, 2021) and lasts through fall of 2021. A 20 hour time
commitment per week is expected with flexible responsibilities. All positions are unpaid. As of now, the internship will be conducted virtually via zoom.
How To Apply:
To apply, please identify which internship position interests you and email us a resume
(victoria@evolving-minds.org) with any recent work or volunteer experience, leadership roles,
extracurricular activities and/or community service. In addition to your resume, answer ONE question
from the three below. Please limit essay responses to no more than 500 words. Submit as PDF or
word document. Quality over quantity. What are you most passionate about? What do you enjoy
about yourself? How would you like to see the world become a better place?
Please submit a resume & essay response to victoria@evolving-minds.org ASAP. Applications are
reviewed and positions are filled on a rolling basis.
