Our clinical research team (led by Randi Streisand, Ph.D.) is looking for undergraduate students with an interest in health and/or child psychology to assist with on-going projects conducted through Children’s National Hospital in collaboration with Vanderbilt University Medical Center and/or George Washington University. Studies involve promoting diabetes outcomes and psychosocial well-being in youth with type 1 diabetes.

The position is flexible and for now will be entirely remote due to COVID-19 restrictions. Our team offers excellent opportunities for experience on prospective, clinical research studies with the potential for presentations and publications.

Responsibilities:

-Managing ongoing data collection
-Conducting medical record reviews
-Assist with data entry and data cleaning
-Attend bi-weekly study meetings

Qualifications:

-Coursework in psychology and/or life sciences
-Minimum of 2 semester commitment
