Description:
The Neurocognitive Development lab investigates the development of cognitive abilities, such as memory, in young children. Their research is especially interested in how changes in these abilities are related to brain development. Multiple tools are used to address this issue including studying children’s overt behavior and their brain structure and function. Currently, the NCDL is running two large studies focused on the influence of napping behavior and sleep on memory in toddlers.Responsibilities:
-Data collection and processing
-Possibly act as an MRI scanner buddy
-Possibly act as a tester and work with participants
-Help with recruitment
-Prefer a minimum of one semester's dedication
-Weekly hours range from 3-6 hours a week
