Faculty Assistant Position
Laboratory of Cognition and Emotion directed by Dr. Luiz Pessoa
The Laboratory of Cognition and Emotion at the University of Maryland, College Park is seeking one responsible individual to fill a part-time Faculty Assistant position aiding the Principal Investigator and lab members with a range of duties related to studying people in an fMRI environment.
This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented, well-organized, and personable who holds a bachelor’s degree. Experience working in a psychology or neuroscience lab is a plus, but not a requirement for this position. This position pays hourly and individuals should expect to work 20 hours on a normal week. There is potential to turn into a full-time position based on the lab’s needs and satisfaction with the assistant’s performance.
