Verbal Beginnings is now accepting new interns for our Early Intervention Center in Columbia, MD! The Verbal Beginnings Internship provides a great opportunity for those who are interested in learning more information about Applied Behavior Analysis. Whether you need a 6-week program during the Summer or a Semester-Long Spring/Fall internship, the program consists of various training taught by our professionals and will prepare you with an incredible amount of experience. The internship can be tailored to any specific university requirements, and is a great way to find out if you love ABA. Successful interns interested in part-time or full-time jobs with Verbal Beginnings may be considered for employment after the program!
Our internship is an unpaid program offered for 6-week sessions during the summer or over the full course of a Fall or Spring semester. Interns will report to the Verbal Beginnings Center in Columbia, MD. Your schedule, amount of hours, research requirements, etc. can all be acquired through this program. Apply today!
As a Verbal Beginnings Intern you will:
Learn the fundamentals of Applied Behavior Analysis
Learn to take data on verbal operants and problem behavior
Shadow professionals and identify verbal operants alongside clients
Learn what materials and parent resources are created for clients
Learn the hierarchy and responsibilities of different roles in a client's treatment plan
Learn about early intervention ABA treatment, as well as the unique programs Verbal Beginnings offers
