Description: 
The Division of Hematology at Children's National Hospital is looking for research assistant volunteers to assist with studies involving children and adolescents with sickle cell disease. The focus of the research studies are on behavioral, psychological, and cognitive factors that are associated with disease management and health outcomes in youth with sickle cell disease.

Research Opportunities offer:

• Experience on clinical research studies with potential for presentations and publications
• Experience working with clinical patient populations and families
• Experience working collaboratively with health care professionals from a range of disciplines
• Preparation for graduate school in psychology, public health, nursing, or medicine
