Spring Months: Trainings & summer curriculum building are flexible; both on-site in the evenings and from home
June 17-21: afternoon & evening trainings (flexible)
June 24-28: full day classroom preparations, trainings, and team mtgs
June 27: Parent Orientation 6-8 PM
July 1-August 9: Camp 8-5 M-F (campers 9-3)
Interns at The Quad Manhattan Summer Camp are rising educators, speech and language professionals, occupational therapy professionals, psychologists, social workers, and mental health professionals who have a special interest in teaching psychosocial skills to students who are gifted and talented with learning differences (Twice Exceptional, or 2e).
This eight week internship opportunity is one that you don't want to miss. Specialized training in psycho-social and emotional skill building for children as well as learning how to teach executive functioning skills in a fun summer camp environment will send you back to school or into the workforce this Fall with a toolkit for all learners!
