Research Assistant InternshipMPOWER Project
The ‘MPOWER Project is an organization that focuses on preventing violent extremism. The ‘MPOWER Project aims to present a positive alternative narrative to those who might be vulnerable to extremist recruitment. This project takes a more human-centric approach to what is generally considered a hard security issue. We are currently looking for unpaid interns with an interest in terrorism, far right extremism (alt-right, white supremacy, etc.), and/or the study of radicalization. NOTE: The ‘MPOWER Project is located in NYC, but you do NOT have to be in NYC for this internship. You can be located anywhere and work remotely! We have researchers at U of MD who you would work with if you are located in MD. Learn more HERE
