Summer Research Assistant Positions
The Culture Lab
Description:
The Culture Lab is seeking motivated research assistants to assist in research-related tasks during the summer. Projects within the lab focus on social norms across cultures, creativity, interpersonal strategies, conflict resolution, and organizational culture. Summer research assistants will be involved in constructing surveys, analyzing data, conducting literature reviews, generating study ideas, and various other tasks. Working as a research assistant in the Culture Lab is a great opportunity to learn more about a broad range of psychological processes and to bolster your resume with research experience. This position could be a great stepping stone to prepare you for graduate school and more advanced research. This is an unpaid, volunteer-basis position. RAs will be expected to work at least 6 hours/week.
Responsibilities:
-Literature reviews
-Survey development
-Data input and analysis
-Generate study ideas
Qualifications:
-Minimum 3.5 GPA
-Minimum 6 hours/week
-Completed Intro Psych
-Time management skills
-Independent worker
-Effective communicator
-Openness to learning new skills and concepts
