Description:
The Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine
(Dr. Susan Carnell) seeks to hire a full-time Research Program Coordinator beginning in Summer 2018 to assist with studies investigating eating behaviors and obesity in infancy, childhood, adolescence and adulthood, including neuroimaging studies. Exact starting date is flexible, but preferably in June/July 2018. The Research Program Coordinator is responsible for protocol implementation and supporting to the Principal Investigator in research-related activities so that the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is able to meet the Johns Hopkins Mission Statement. Specifically, the Research Program Coordinator will provide support for the implementation, coordination, and productivity of studies of eating behavior and body weight in children, adolescents and adults.

Responsibilities:
-Research Recruitment & Subject Screening
-Protocol Implementation & Data Acquisition
-Data Organization, Management and Analysis
-Guidance and supervision of undergraduate students & interns
-Publication/Presentation/Grant Preparation Support
-Attendance at research meetings, training sessions, local and national conferences
-40 hours per week; Mon-Fri

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (e.g. Psychology, Cognitive Science, Social Sciences, Neuroscience, etc.)
-Experience with children and/or families
-Experience with SPSS or other statistical analysis software
-Experience in data collection, and management and/or analysis is required
-Experience with neuroimaging research is desirable, but not necessary.
