The Program Assistant will function as part of a lab/research team for a federally-funded (NIMH R01) research study. The Charleston Resiliency Monitoring (CHARM) study is a lab-based project centered on examining connections between stressful life experiences (e.g., trauma) and threat processing in the brain during childhood and adolescence. For this project, the Program Assistant will recruit youth and caregivers from the community, conduct phone screens, schedule lab visits, and administer an experimental protocol that includes an fMRI scan, EEG tasks, a stressor task, survey-based measures, and clinical interviews. The Program Assistant will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date IRB protocols, screening participants, scheduling appointments, interviewing participants, and data management. The Program Assistant will use Microsoft Excel and statistical software packages (SPSS) for data management and online survey programs (RedCap) for data collection.
