Autism Instructor for 2018/19 school year,
with spring/summer hours also available!
Looking for experienced, creative, teacher/instructor for sweet 15-year-old girl on autism spectrum. Instructor would work at the school and in conjunction with educational consultant, speech therapist, psychologist and OT. Would collaborate with educational team and parents. Position involves working with child 1:1, implementing and adding to program, as well as helping facilitate with peers. Child is verbal and working on increasing use of social language. Program includes academics, as well as a strong focus on engagement, interaction, and sustained attention. Experience in the field of autism/special education is preferred. Training is also provided. Looking for 10-25 hours per week.
