Undergraduate Research Assistant Positions
The Prevention and Early Adversity Research Lab (PEARL)
Description:
The Prevention and Early Adversity Research Lab (PEARL) has positions available for undergraduate research assistants (RAs) (current undergraduate students), who are interested in studying young children for this summer. Duties include collecting child and family data in families’ homes, entering, coding, managing, and analyzing data, writing sections of reports, reviewing relevant literature, and contributing to presentations and manuscripts, as well as other assigned tasks. Compensation will be course credit.
Responsibilities:
-Collecting child and family data
-Entering, coding, and managing data
-Reviewing relevant literature
Qualifications:
-Experience working with children and families (preferred, but not essential)
-Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and organizational skills
-Comfort going into low income, minority neighborhoods and families’ homes
