Description:
The Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is currently recruiting DomesticViolence Liaisons, who ride along with MPD officers to provide services to victims of domestic violence. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in law enforcement, counseling, and other helping professions to gain hands-on experience working with police officers and assisting victims of violent crime. The position has a low time commitment and the hours are very flexible, making it a great way for students to gain professional, real-world experience and add to their resumes. We are seeking to recruit new volunteers who will be trained at the end of February. S

Responsibilities:
-20 Hours of Training
-10 Hours Per Month Required

How To Apply:
Considering that training beings in 1 month and a background check is required, interested students should email Amy.Costanzo@dc.gov immediately if they would like a spot in this spring cohort. See this LINK for further information and to apply.
