Research Assistant Position
The Grand Lab
Description:
A research assistant is needed to help conduct studies evaluating how individuals make choices about goals. Specifically, they will help conduct a study about how individuals evaluate an exercise class and whether that exercise class will help them achieve fitness goals. The research assistant may help conduct other studies as they are developed throughout the semester. Undergraduates interested in studying motivation and learning new methodologies are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
-Conduct studies in a lab during predetermined hours
-Guide participants through the consent process
-Answer participants' questions while in the lab
-Manage participant sign-ups
-Build surveys in Qualtrics
-3-7 hours per week
Qualifications:
-Comfortable speaking and interacting with participants
-Able to use Qualtrics or learn how to use Qualtrics
-Reliable (must be willing to conduct studies in lab at predetermined times)
-Interested in learning new methodologies, such as computational modeling (Preferred, but not required)

Any additional research methods courses you've completed (additional research methods courses not required) 5.
