Research Assistant Positions
Learning and Cognition Lab
Description:
Are you interested in going to graduate school for educational psychology? Do you want to gain experience in a laboratory setting? The Learning and Cognition lab, directed by Dr. Kelly Mix, is seeking highly motivated undergraduate students to work as research assistants starting the Fall 2017 semester, and continuing through the Spring 2018 semester. RAs will gain hands-on experience in the lab, and will also travel to local elementary schools to test children. For more information on our study, please visit http://umdmixlab.weebly.com/
Responsibilities:
-Conduct testing with elementary aged children
-Help with filing/organizing lab materials
-Assist with data entry
Qualifications:
-Must be a psychology major, human development minor, or any related major
-Must have a 3.5 GPA or higher
-Detail oriented, organized, and strong communication skills
-Must have 10 hours/week of availability, including Fridays 9-1 during the spring semester (preferred)
-Having a car is preferred, but not required
