Seeking New Student Members for Counseling Center Student Advisory Board!

Counseling Center
Student Advisory Board (SAB) Positions

Students interested in mental health outreach and knowledge may apply to represent the Counseling Center on the Student Advisory Board (SAB). The SAB serves several functions: 1) To act as a sounding board for the Counseling Center. Because you offer a student perspective on the mental health needs and climate of UMD’s campus, your representation on the SAB is invaluable. 2) To publicize mental health services through outreach events. 3) To serve on special projects within the Counseling Center and across campus with various student groups like Active Minds, Psi Chi, and MICA. Previous projects include providing suggestions on the New Student Census, hosting a staff psychologist panel for students interested in pursuing graduate school, and speaking with students about self-care during Stress-Less Week.
