The Project on Children’s Language Learning in the Department of Linguistics (PI: Jeffrey Lidz) is looking for undergraduates with an interest in cognitive and/or language development to work as research assistants on projects concerning infant and child language learning. Students may register for a 3-credit course (Ling248 Research in Developmental Linguistics), which can continue for 2 semesters (2nd semester is Ling 448, Advanced Research in Developmental Linguistics), or in some cases students may be paid for their research. Students will learn to use behavioral methods to study children’s language development.
