Part-time Faculty Research Assistant Position
Center for Addictions, Personality, and Emotion Research/Maryland Neuroimaging Center
Description:
One part-time Faculty Research Assistant (FRA) position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Kristen Hamilton at the Center for Addictions, Personality and Emotion Research (CAPER) and the Maryland Neuroimaging Center (MNC). The FRA will serve as a project coordinator on a NIDA-funded longitudinal study investigating neurodevelopmental changes in impulsivity and risk behaviors across adolescence.
Responsibilities:
-20+ hours per week
-Participant recruitment and scheduling
-Data collection, processing, and management
-Preprocessing of fMRI data
Qualifications:
-B.A. or B.S. in Psychology or Neuroscience
-Prior training in neuroscience (broadly defined)
-Prior research experience
-Good attention to detail
-Strong organizational skills
-Candidates with fMRI research experience are especially encouraged to apply
