Diversity and Identity Management (IMg) Lab

Description:
UMD's IMg lab is seeking undergraduate research assistants (starting Spring 2016) who have a passion for research and issues related to diversity, diverse identities, stigmatization, and discrimination. This lab explores questions related to how individuals who are in the minority manage their identities on a daily basis and the outcomes associated with those choices. Research assistants need to be reliable, organized, and have superior communication skills. Additional criteria below. Preference will be given to applicants who can commit to at least two consecutive semesters in the lab.
-data management
-attending weekly lab meetings
-6-10 hours per week
-at least 2 consecutive semester commitment

Responsibilities:
-running participants in the lab -data management
-attending weekly lab meetings
-6-10 hours per week
Qualifications:
-3.5 major GPA or higher -at least 2 consecutive semester commitment
-Interest in diversity-related research
