After serving as the Director of Undergraduate Studies in Psychology since 2011, Dr. Scott Roberts has accepted a new role as the University of Maryland's Director of Instructional Excellence & Innovation. Dr. Jack Blanchard, Professor & Chair, wrote in an email to the Department:

I want to thank Scott for his many contributions to our Undergraduate Program. Scott has led the department’s effort to innovate our undergraduate courses and he helped to establish a culture of excellence in undergraduate teaching. His passion, commitment and leadership led to the transformation of our undergraduate program to one of the best on campus. I greatly appreciate all that Scott has done in Psychology and wish him the very best in his new position.In his new role, Dr. Roberts will help lead the University's efforts to support and advance undergraduate and graduate teaching across the campus. We wish him the best of luck and are glad that he will continue to be a resource for our instructors, assistants, and all of you PSYC Terps!
