Research Internship with the Social Learning Lab!

Undergraduate Research Internship 

Description:
The Social Learning Lab (directed by Dr. Lucas Butler) is looking for highly motivated, detail-oriented undergraduate students to work on various projects investigating children's early social and cognitive development this summer, with the opportunity to continue working in the lab for credit in future semesters! Interns will work closely with the PI and the lab coordinator, and will gain hands-on experience conducting cutting-edge psychological research with young children. Interns will assist with many important research activities, including participant recruitment and scheduling, creating experimental stimuli, behavioral observation and testing with children, and data coding/entry. In addition a fun and stimulating way to spend your summer, this experience can bolster your future applications to graduate school, and provide the opportunity to earn a strong letter of recommendation. Responsibilities and Requirements:
-Participant recruitment 
-Subject testing
-Data coding
-Data entry
-Data organization
-Stimuli creation

Qualifications:
-Academic background in psychology, human development, or related field 
-Minimum 3.3 GPA
-Experience working with children
-Strong communication skills
-Able to work independently
